This is part of a series of blog posts featuring some of the amazing talent we have working on the technology behind Infinitus.

This week, we’re excited to be featuring Omar Burney, one of our new grad recruits. Omar is part of our full stack engineering team and has been helping improve the data labeling and administrative portals.

Why did you choose to join Infinitus?
Initially, the vision and mission of the company got me excited about Infinitus. Once I started interviewing, I saw the opportunity to work with talented, great people to tackle interesting problems.

What are you working on right now?
I am a full-stack software engineer primarily focused on the front-end of our product suite. My engineering focus is on our administrative and data labeling portals. I build features to ensure the calls our product makes to healthcare companies run smoothly and are as efficient as possible. Given the nature of the front-end features I am building, I also have the opportunity to develop back-end features.

What is the favorite part about working for Infinitus?
I like being able to work with a talented team that has strong cross-team collaboration and communication. I find it very interesting to learn about the different aspects of the product. Shortly after joining as a recent grad, I have already been able to release features into production and see the impact of the work that I have done.

What are 3 words to describe Infinitus?
Innovative, exciting and collaborative

What advice do you have for prospective Infinitus candidates?

What’s something you are passionate about outside of work?
Anything to stay active. I spend many weekends playing volleyball with friends.
